With over five years of experience as a Talent Handler, I’ve had the privilege of working behind the scenes at major pop culture conventions—most notably Phoenix Fan Fusion. In this role, I’ve supported and coordinated with a variety of high-profile guests including Adam Savage, Tom Cavanagh, and Anthony Rapp. My expertise lies in delivering seamless experiences for both Talent and fans, thanks to a strong background in patron relations, customer service, and efficient line management.
I’ve also served in multiple leadership roles, where I helped guide teams, troubleshoot in real-time, and uphold the highest standard of professionalism in fast-paced, high-energy environments. Whether I’m working closely with Talent or assisting a first-time con-goer, I bring a calm, organized, and personable approach to everything I do.
Devin Pike remembers the Web when it was nothing but annoying animated GIFs as far as the eye can see. A film critic and entertainment reporter since 1981, Devin has hosted panels with and interviewed John Lithgow, Alex Kingston, David Tennant, Karen Gillan, Michael Rooker, and dozens more. He has directed and produced programs for Dallas ABC affiliate WFAA, CBS Radio, FanExpo, Gallifrey One, and Time Warner Cable. Mostly, Devin hates talking about himself in the third person, because it makes him feel schizophrenic.
An Army veteran, Kathryn Brockhage first stepped into the world of VIP services working as an Executive Assistant to the CEO of a multi-million-dollar business. Kathryn has since moved into the convention space, where she has been staffing in primarily Guest Handling and exhibitor roles since 2021. Past clients include Michelle Ruff, Jordan Dash Cruz, Amber May, and more. She also owns a small live events company of her own, Front Range Immersive Experiences LLC.
Working with Kathryn means working with nothing less than excellence – professional bearing, a sharp wardrobe, and extreme adaptability to any situation or circumstance are hallmarks of the service she brings. She will make your guests feel welcomed and SAFE at any event, anticipate needs before they become problems, and help facilitate top sales.
I began working conventions as a volunteer, helping set up stages and managing lines in 2022. The next year I worked as a handler for the first time, handling for with Kelsey Cruz during Okicon 2023. Subsequently, I assisted Matt Mulholland for Okicon 2024, taking food and drink orders from Talent, watching over the exhibit hall, as well as assisting other event staff in various tasks as they arose.
Angel has been part of the Convention scene from going to Cons since 2010 with her siblings to just recently becoming a guest handler. She has volunteered for Fandom Events since 2021, as well as doing her own small interviews with guests at cons during her free time. Angel is never seen without a smile on her face and a skip in her step, there’s never been a problem she couldn’t figure out. She loves to share her excitement and joy with others and will always know how to keep a nice conversation going.
I've been in the convention business for about 13 years now, with the majority of that time as a celebrity assistant but more recently as an agent. I love my job and have enjoyed making new friendships and new connections.
"With 13+ years’ experience volunteering and working as a talent handler for the local Albuquerque convention scene, I have had the fortunate pleasure of having worked with guests such as Christopher Lloyd, Kevin Sorbo, Jared Padalecki and many others. I have a passion for making sure that whomever I am working with is taken care of, as well as their many fans."
